FAQ's
The cost of elf delivery is $40, paid in advance.
For the 2024 season, we are only delivering in Oak Lawn, Lockport and Orland Park. However, if you live outside of those areas and we can fit it into our schedule, the charge would be $40 + $0.75 per mile.
Once we confirm your delivery, the Christmas character assigned to deliver your elf will reach out to you to make arrangements. In 2023 when Santa piloted this service, one person dropped off the elf at his place of employment while others just hid the elves outside in the yard.
We try to park 1-2 houses down but that is not always possible depending on where you live and the number of cars on the street. If your doorbell camera catches one of us coming out of the car, you can simply edit your doorbell camera footage to remove that part.
We can't give away the secret of Christmas magic!
First of all, these deliveries will likely happen between 9:00pm-midnight after children are asleep. If your child does catch us during the delivery, it's your job to keep them from running and opening the door. Watch out the window and tell them to be quiet. Truly a magical experience. But of course, then you have to pull them away from the window so that they don't see us getting into our vehicle. We will have many to deliver so we cannot be interrupted while during your delivery.
The Christmas character will text you when they arrive so you know who is on your porch. They will also text you after they are done so you can quickly check your camera to make sure it caught it. True story: during the pilot phase Santa went to a home and the camera didn't catch him. He was THAT stealthy!
Yes! All elves would come to the home at the same time. There is no added fee for additional elves. If you are a home that also has elf pets, consider having them arrive on another day during the month after your elf goes back to the North Pole one night to report back to Santa.
Once you are on the books and closer to the delivery date, your North Pole performer will reach out to you to get key information. This will be at minimum (1) the name of the elf and (2) a mention of an incident that happened last year. In the video example above, Santa says 'watch out for the dog.' That was because there was an incident where the dog got a hold of the elf the previous year. Your performer will work with you if you can't come up with anything.
Let's say we deliver your elf on November 24th but your elf doesn't generally arrive until December 1. Your elf can still show up on December 1! You go back and pull up the footage off the camera to find the delivery to show the children. The question will be 'What has the elf been doing all this time?' Oh the stories you can create. 'I wonder if Santa knows he didn't stay to hang out' or 'I wonder if they've been quietly watching us all this time before they decided to reveal themselves?' You can have a lot of fun with this! It is actually unlikely that we'll be able to deliver every elf the exact night before it arrives so you will need to consider this. Also, you could edit the timestamp out of your doorbell cam footage making the date of our delivery a moot point.
This would then be pre-booked as a home visit and home visit pricing would apply. With a home visit, you can choose your Christmas character(s) subject to their availability.
